Ruthie Charbonneau is a Métis herbalist living on Treaty 6 territory in Alberta. She is a certified Phytotherapist, having completed a diploma of Phytotherapy involving 4 years of extensive herbal training from Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC.
She is passionate about holistic health & wellness and enjoys harvesting, making, & using medicine from her natural surroundings.
Her training at Pacific Rim College has equipped her with the knowledge & clinical skills to use herbal medicine to treat a range of health conditions.
She has a special interest in using herbal medicine for addiction treatment & recovery.
Having experience working amongst native species of the prairies and wild-harvesting medicine, she highly values sustainably harvested medicine and believes in the importance of fostering a connection to the land.
